Vanguard Lift
Traction lifts utilize a sophisticated yet simple motor and counterweight system. A motor is attached to a toothed pulley (sheave), with a high-strength rope or cable looped over it, connecting the lift car to a counterweight.
The counterweight balances the system, significantly reducing the strain on the motor. This energy-efficient design requires less power to move the car up or down, providing a smoother ride with gradual acceleration.

All elevator components are secured in seaworthy standard plywood boxes with moisture-proof plastic lining. Each package includes a detailed packing list and identification tags.
